Take a Break

Rest is a very important part to your training. It's easy to think that the harder you train, the better you will do. Turn that mind-set to make your hard days hard and your easy days easy. If you make your easy runs hard you will not gain the necessary training to run faster. So, if you find yourself sore and tired after a good, hard workout. Take the next day off! After all, you deserve it! But, make sure you get right back up and continue your training after your rest.

Hey Dave,

I was at West Ashley last Saturday and Dorchester the time before. Stuck the schedule, since you didn't make it noone came. So, we're going to cancel the group runs. Stick with your training and see you on the 18th!!

Hey Maggie,
Guess I should've taken the posted sched more seriously, my badd. Wish there was more enthusiasm overall! I have run 2-3 times since our run, tho. Are you picking up the packets @ the end of the week? Where are we meeting
B4 the race to get packet numbers & do our group hug? :-))
